We are pleased to add "Cinderella" to our exciting new series of mice from classic children's FAIRY TALES!
"Cinderella, or The Little Glass Slipper" was written by French author Charles Perrault (1628-1703). In works derived from pre-existing folktales, he laid the foundations for a new literary genre, the Fairy Tale. "Cinderella" is one of his best-known and most enchanting stories.
Brought to life in the form of a mouse, Cinderella is made of fine blonde mohair plush with realistic shading, resin hands and feet, German glass eyes, handsewn whiskers, and a leather tail. Measuring approximately 3" tall, she is jointed at the neck and shoulders. A built-in metal stand provides effortless display.
Cinderella comes outfitted for the ball in a lovely gown made of the finest pure silk fabrics. Her exquisite 18th century costume is authentically designed from the Rococo period with an underskirt and fitted bodice trimmed with pleated ruffles. The voluminous overskirt features an elegant train embellished with irridescent sparkles. A pearl necklace and a regal silver tiara with inset Aurora Borealis crystals complete her dazzling ensemble. On her feet, Cinderella wears an incredibly tiny pair of 'mouse-size' glass slippers custom made for her out of clear resin!
Cinderella is produced in Bennington, Vermont in a worldwide limited edition of only 150 pieces. Each comes enclosed in a deluxe presentation box with the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for registration.
